Barb is Echo’s Process Champion, Smartsheet-certified and an expert in countless technology platforms we offer. Problem-solving opportunities energize and excite her, and she loves how each day with Echo brings new questions, challenges, and successes. She has the “planner gene,” and her approach to project management is based on a love of solving problems and strategizing the integration of smaller pieces into the big picture. Barb believes in aligning comprehensive plans with the skills and team members so work productivity results in successfully exceeded goals. Her goal is to inspire and foster change through diligent project management resulting in improved processes and efficiencies. Barb sees planning and scheduling project tasks as a jigsaw puzzle: hundreds of pieces contribute to the finished project, and it’s Echo’s job to generate a strategy to fit the pieces together.Barb’s true passion is teaching and coaching, both in her professional and personal life. She comes from a diverse background with 30 years of manufacturing, healthcare and technology experience as a change management consultant, operations project leader and Six Sigma/Lean facilitator. In teaching, Barb gets to consistently self-improve and share her own insights to instill learning in others. She has taught in community school systems at the University of Phoenix and Community College of Vermont, and shares her love of skiing as a PSIA ski instructor for over 25 years. Out of the office, Barb enjoys boating on the lake, traveling to warm destinations, flower gardening, sewing, and, of course, spending time with family and friends.
